After leaving college I was employed as an Office Manager and later as an Executive PA for a large construction company reporting directly to the CEO. During my 5 years at this company, I gained valuable experience and an excellent knowledge of functionality that cohere a busy company. I was taught in all the major areas of office processes, including accounting procedures, sales and marketing, further management and administration.
In 1986 and after absorbing all the information I could it became apparent that I needed a new challenge so decided to register with a recruitment agency in London to see if they could fill my needs for something fresh and exciting. This was my first experience of recruitment agencies and did not think for one moment it would be such a huge part of my life for the next 20 years!
At the registration interview the manager of the agency was called in to speak to me and within a few minutes she told me that the new, exciting job I was seeking was with them as a recruitment consultant. Seeing this as the ultimate challenge I joined the company which, at the time, was the number one recruitment agency, Alfred Marks.
Whilst I was there I was given top class training by the best in the industry and was soon promoted to Senior Recruitment Consultant. During my 7 years there I won numerous awards including 5 special awards for outstanding achievement, this was for placing more candidates into permanent jobs than any other individual within the group, which is something I am still very proud of. Over the past ten years I have managed several local agencies, honing my skills and techniques. However, during that time I came to realise that the old style, lack lustre senior management thinking and approach to recruitment was destroying the passion I felt for the job.
So without giving it a second thought and knowing it could be done better I teamed up with two of the best consultants in the industry and together we created Paterson Price...
So I cordially invite you to try us, as I know that you will soon realise that we share the passion you have to move forward, whether it be in a new job role, or taking your company to the next level. Your requirements will be met with vigour, drive and enthusiasm with one goal, to fulfill your needs efficiently and effectively...Welcome to 21st Century Recruitment...jill.turner@patersonpricepersonnel.co.uk

With over 10 years recruitment experience, my career started when I worked for MSB International with direct training provided by the Sales Director, I really hit the ground running and quickly learnt from working amongst a close and professional team. Each one of them now being either a Director or have moved on to their own company. This really was a fast-track learning curve for me and my success now, is really down to their unique way of training.
After a time, I was head hunted by various companies and chose to head for the city of London to work with the commercial team as a Temps and Perms consultant. My reputation had obviously preceded me, as I was asked to provide training to staff in other branches which clearly was a success as sales figures were soon on the up.
During the past 2 years. I worked for a major commercial High Street agency in Bromley, Kent as a Permanent Recruitment Consultant. This has given me a sound knowledge of not only the geographical area, but also the expectations of the businesses that we dealt with. It was whilst working at this agency I realised that it could be all done better, a much better way in fact. With this in mind I teamed up with a fast moving colleague and we decided to start up our own company. I felt this was the only way to provide the level of service that clients and candidates alike really deserved. Hopefully, you will let me show you the better way for yourself and benefit from the skills I have gained from my previous experiences
I also arrange and host an annual charity ball which I have enjoyed doing for the past 11 years. These take place at the Bromley Common Cricket Club, at the last event I had over 400 guests attending. These and other events have enabled me to raise in excess of £80,000 for the King's College Medical Trust (Cancer Unit), for which I am very proud. Should you like to make a donation to this charity please contact me on 01322 550660 or....laura.price@patersonpricepersonnel.co.uk

Initially from an Property Management background, I have just over 5 years direct sales and marketing experience. Realising just how similar the property and recruitment industries really are, I decided to make the leap and work for a commercial High Street agency as a Resourcer. This enabled me to speak to candidates and clients, whilst also allowing me to continue with the administrative side of recruitment.
Most recently, I worked for a more independent agency, which was a real learning curve for me and also helped to bolster my confidence making the leap to Consultant. I am honest and reliable, and always give 100% to whatever task I undertake.
I am an enthusiastic and dedicated member of PPP, who has a real passion for recruitment and is keen to offer career advice to those who need it most, be it clients or candidates.
